Good evening everyone

I've been reading some of the threads in this forum for a while (having found the link in a post on Bob Cowans CurlingToday blog) and have decided to register, so that I may add some thoughts from an "outsiders perspective" now and then - if this is allright with you guys.

A little about myself: I've been an active curler for eleven years and have some background in Swiss junior league championships. Currently I am a student at university and thus "only" curling socially (lack of time). Nevertheless, I try to follow the happenings of the sport in my home country, Switzerland, and elsewhere as good as I can Smiley

Yes, welcome indeed. I wish my French or German was as good as your English! Where did you learn?

Thanks for the compliment Smiley
A few years back, I spent a year as a high school exchange student in Auckland, New Zealand where btw I also had the opportunity to curl with the Auckland Curling Club (a great but different experience Wink ). So I guess that's where I must have picked up most of my English - including a horrible way of saying "bed&breakfeast" according to my brother :p

Hi, and welcome to the forum. It's very interesting to get the views of curlers outwith Scotland, and to see what solutions they provide for the problems which affect our sport. Keep posting. Smiley
