1 Kojak. there may have been bald actors and characters before but in the late 70's Kojak was the king of cool. Why we all thought a bald greek new york police lieutenant who sucked lollipops and said "who luvs ya baby" was cool is anyone's guess but the kojak character (for me) still epitomises "bald-cool". (i know PN said telly savalas earlier but kojak (unlike savalas) didnt wear medallions)
2. Sinead O,connor. She may have lost the plot a bit (!) since, but in the early 80's she was the ultra cool-non-conformist hip chic!
3. Fabien Barthez. Ultra cool nut case of a goalkeeper... and was married to linda evangelista... cool!
