Thanks John, I would never read these unless you posted the link. Not  a lot of reading I have to say.

Notes of the March meeting of the RCCC Board can be found at:

Don't rush, there isn't much in it and the NCA problems have been neatly skipped over.

no sign of any October board (bored?) minutes (notes?)  yet - meeting was on 27 Oct with next one being 29 Nov which is next week.

also no ASC minutes since June despite being at least 2 meetings since.

and finally

no grand match comittee minutes despite being promised at AGM - have they met? who is on it? does it exist? have they got new plans? or is it same old same old.........or do they know they can never have another GM and dont feel the need to get excited?

DA and others - the CEO has advised me in an email that - "The first grand match meeting since the AGM was held last week and it should be on the web in due course, previous GM notes are not terribly useful and this was noted at the recent meeting so I hope the new ones tell the full picture for persons that were not present.

I'd also like to see a list of all downloads in one place so one does not have to search all over the place to get minutes and other info".

I am liking this guy more and more - he sent the email after 2300 hours last night!

On the matter of The GM Committee. At least, if they published a copy of the Waiter's Order Pad, we'd have some idea of what went on!

I'm sure that the above statement is totally unfair and that 'our' new CEO will get the shop in some kind of order as fast as he can, but we are, once again, approaching December and would like to know that something positive has been done, on this matter at the very least.

Just in case it sneaked under your radar a couple of days ago for those that might be interested.

They say that the ASC minutes for Jan 2011 will be posted after they have been ratified.
No mention of the November (or presumably Dec) minutes.
LSC minutes for Nov have been posted pending ratification.
They also say that the dates for 2010/2011 are still to be confirmed.  Huh

For those who haven't managed to find the minutes page for the RCCC Board yet, look here:

http://www.royalcaledoniancurlingclub.org/rccc/index.cfm/about-rccc/structure/board/

For the ASC minutes, look here:

http://www.royalcaledoniancurlingclub.org/rccc/index.cfm/about-rccc/structure/areas/areas-standing-committee/

One item from the Board meeting of 27th October 2010 reads:

f) Committee meeting minutes
It was noted that minutes of all committee meetings should be posted on the Royal Club website.

Meanwhile the headings of the relevant reports are still called Notes, and no doubt others will also wonder why it takes so long before these are published on the web. It is however interesting to note that the last minutes/notes/reports are more comprehensive than the previous ones, coinciding perhaps with the arrival of the new CEO. This is good news.
