I'm surprised Eve flew back home to Scotland. She's scheduled to participate at the "Dressed to Kilt" event in New York City next Monday (April 5, 2010). She is supposedly going to serve as a catwalk model during the event. Which means after resting at home for 5 days she's flying internationally again.

I might have to go and attend the event now!

Finally caught up...(kidding myself as usual) and will allow myself a few minutes here!

I've had some pickups in my time, we all have, but that was a belter and I thought Eve demonstrated what a fine curler she is by handling it perfectly.

Clearly sweeping the ice is only allowed in front of a running stone or while it is snowing., That's the rules. If you can convince yourself that using a stopwatch is not measuring, them I am sure it is a only small step to pretending that "cleaning" is not "sweeping".

Heartened to read Schopp's comments about the Olympics.  They are just rubbish and nothing to do with sport. Glad to have her on board.

ZARA.J  - you out there? -  Quite a result, still celebrating?

I complained to Eurosport about the poor coverage of the Womens Worlds, the answer is below - not bad for 4 days!

Hello,

Thank you for logging a query regarding Eurosport Player.

Unfortunately, we encountered some technical issues regarding the World Curling Championships broadcast last weekend. There was a connection fault with the on-site broadcaster which resulted in problems transmitting the live feed.

The live tennis which preceded our curling coverage overran and unfortunately this caused a delay in our switching to curling. It is the usual channel policy to stay with live coverage until its conclusion.

In addition, the technical problems meant the bonus coverage on the Eurosport Player was unavailable.

We apologise for this inconvenience.

However, British Eurosport will broadcast further extensive live coverage from Cortina this week, with additional commentary-free video available on the Eurosport Player VOD service.

Please do not hesitate to contact us should you require further information.

Best regards,

The Eurosport Player team.
